Blazing Star Flowers is a small flower farm and floral design studio just outside of Asheville. Suzanne Nolter is the owner, farmer, and florist behind this tiny farm that wants to spread big beauty in the world. It combines her passions for nature, art, and environmental sustainability.
Suzanne has been an organic farmer since 2001, responsibly stewarding land and raising flowers, vegetables, fruit, laying hens, and honey bees. Now she is excited to focus on flowers, her first love in the garden since childhood, and draw upon 15 years of experience in floral design to create gorgeous arrangements that bring the beauty of the natural world into our lives and celebrations.

Flower thoughts
I enjoy putting great care into every step of the floral process: from selecting specialty cut flower varieties and planting seeds to harvesting stems, artfully arranging them, and seeing joy on the faces of my clients as I hand them their bouquets.
